1:1 Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School (Liverpool) Location: Liverpool L20 Contract: Full-time, long-term Start: ASAP Milk Education is recruiting a committed and enthusiastic 1:1 Learning Support Assistant for a vibrant secondary school in Liverpool. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and making a real difference in a student’s educational experience. The Role: 1:1 Learning Support Assistant As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you will: * Work directly with a student who requires tailored support throughout the school day. * Help the pupil engage with the curriculum, reinforcing learning set by the class teacher. * Adapt activities to ensure the student can access lessons effectively. * Support emotional regulation and help the young person develop confidence and independence. * Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the SENDCo to ensure the student’s needs are consistently met. About You To be successful as a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you should: * Have experience supporting children or young people (school, care or community settings are all considered). * Be patient, encouraging and adaptable. * Be confident in managing different behaviours and building rapport. * Show a genuine passion for helping a pupil achieve their potential.
