3 Axis CNC Miller
This CNC Miller role offers the opportunity to work on bespoke components and innovative engineering projects rather than repetitive production work. You'll be producing one-off and small-batch parts in materials including aluminium and titanium, working within a modern workshop equipped with advanced CNC machining and inspection technology.
Key Responsibilities
* Set, program and operate CNC milling machines.
* Produce one-off and small-batch machined components.
* Work from engineering drawings and CAD/CAM data.
* Prove out, edit and optimise CNC programs.
* Machine complex components to tight tolerances.
* Carry out in-process inspection and quality checks.
* Maintain tooling, fixtures and machine performance.
* Support continuous improvement within the machining department.
Skills & Knowledge Required
* Proven experience as a CNC Miller.
* Strong programming, setting and operating capability.
* Experience with 3, 4 or 5-axis CNC machining.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Experience machining aluminium and other engineering materials.
* Quality-focused with excellent attention to detail.
* CAD/CAM experience desirable.
* Background in marine, aerospace, motorsport, defence or similar engineering sectors advantageous.
