Responsibilities
* Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle safely and efficiently for deliveries
* Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
* Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules
* Adhere to all road traffic regulations and company policies
* Assist with route planning to optimise delivery efficiency
Qualifications
* Valid UK driving licence with the appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles
* Proven experience as a commercial driver
* Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and driving best practices
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
