Account Manager – Flexible/Absorbency Packaging Location:  UK / Hybrid / Field-Based Salary: Up to £50,000 The Company I’m currently working a well-established UK packaging manufacturer supplying a range of sustainable packaging solutions to food manufacturers, processors, and foodservice businesses across the UK and international markets. With over 50 years of packaging expertise, they have built a reputation for quality, innovation, and responsive customer service, supporting major food producers, wholesalers, and catering suppliers with high-performance packaging solutions. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an Account Manager responsible for developing and expanding existing customer relationships The Role - HOME BASED This position is focused on account development role. Working predominantly on food absorbency and flexible packaging, you will inherit a portfolio of established customers and work closely with them to grow revenue, introduce new packaging solutions, and identify opportunities for long-term partnership. Typical responsibilities include: Managing and developing a portfolio of national retail, food manufacturing, processor and specialist sector accounts Focus on re-engaging dormant accounts and winning back previously lost customers Identifying growth opportunities within current customers through new product ranges and packaging formats Advising customers on sustainable and cost-effective packaging solutions Monitoring market trends and customer requirements within the food manufacturing and foodservice sectors Partnering with customers on new product development opportunities Delivering accurate rolling 12-month forecastsDelivering excellent service and maintaining the company’s reputation for flexibility, quality, and reliability Requirements Experience managing national accounts within flexible packaging or absorbency sectors A proven track record of account growth and retention Experience handling complex customer requirement Robust forecasting discipline and CRM capability  Ref: (phone number removed)
