Accounts Administrator 6825 Location: Tetbury (Hybrid – 4 days per week in office, 1 day WFH following successful training) Hours: Monday – Friday (Full Time) Contract: Temporary to Permanent Salary: £27,000 Job Description We are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Administrator on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing environmental consultancy based in Tetbury. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of the business, ensuring smooth processes and contributing to the wider team’s success. Key Responsibilities Finance & Accounts Support: * Manage day-to-day accounts processing, including invoices and supplier payments * Support banking processes and assist with credit control activities * Liaise with clients regarding outstanding payments * Work closely with the Financial Controller to support monthly financial cycles * Assist with monthly environmental reporting Administrative Support: * Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems * Handle incoming correspondence, emails, and general enquiries * Coordinate schedules, meeting rooms, and travel arrangements * Maintain supplier records, portals, and internal logs Health, Safety & Compliance: * Maintain up-to-date records including risk assessments and H&S documentation * Support compliance checks and ensure procedures are followed * Train as Fire Marshal, including organising drills and tracking incidents Key Skills Essential: * Previous experience in an administrative or accounts support role * Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail * Confident communicator, both written and verbal * Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, SharePoint) * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team Desirable: * Bookkeeping or purchase ledger experience * Experience within a consultancy or professional services environment * Familiarity with CRM or project management systems * Interest in sustainability, environmental services, or ecology Benefits * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * Hybrid working model * Life assurance and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) * Ongoing training and development opportunities * Paid professional memberships * Inclusive and supportive working culture * Opportunities to engage in community initiatives and wellbeing programmes For more information please contact Tom at First Base Employment.
