Accounts Assistant
Key Responsibilities
* Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately
* Reconciling bank statements and supplier accounts
* Assisting with credit control and payment collection
* Preparing and processing payments
* Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry
* Supporting month-end procedures and reporting
* Handling finance-related queries by phone and email
* Assisting the wider finance team with administrative duties as required
Requirements
* Previous experience in an accounts or finance role
* Good understanding of basic accounting principles
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and accounting software
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A positive and professional attitude
Desirable
* Experience using Sage, Xero, or similar accounting systems
* AAT qualification or studying towards one
