Active Fire Supervisor – Fire Alarm & AOV Systems

Join a rapidly growing fire protection company as an Active Fire Supervisor, overseeing fire alarm and AOV installation projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Fire Alarm Engineer or Commissioning Engineer ready to step into a leadership role. You’ll supervise engineers on site, ensure compliance with industry standards, and take responsibility for commissioning and quality assurance across multiple projects. Key Responsibilities * Supervised engineers installing fire alarm and AOV systems on commercial and residential sites. * Commissioned and tested fire alarm systems to BS 5839 and manufacturer specifications. * Completed quality checks, technical audits, and detailed site surveys. * Ensured all installations met BS 5839 and BS EN 12101 requirements. * Provided technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to engineering teams. * Produced commissioning reports, documentation, and handover packs. * Worked closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery. Requirements * Strong experience with fire alarm systems and AOV systems. * Proven commissioning experience on fire alarm systems. * Previous senior engineer or supervisory background. * Good understanding of UK fire safety standards and compliance. * Excellent technical and fault‑finding skills. * Full UK driving licence.
