Adults Social Care – Social Worker (Qualified) South Tyneside Council £27.30 per hour | 37 hours per week Hybrid Working: 3 days office-based | 2 days working from home South Tyneside Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the Allocated Wellbeing Team (Review Team) within Adults Social Care. About the Role This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking team focused on promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for adults across the borough. Key responsibilities include: Completing statutory community and care home reviews Managing an allocated caseload within the Wellbeing Team Undertaking strengths-based assessments and person-centred reviews Participating in and covering duty rota responsibilities Working collaboratively with families, care providers, and partner agencies Ensuring care planning remains outcome-focused and compliant with statutory responsibilitiesWorking Pattern 37 hours per week Hybrid model: 3 days office-based, 2 days remote working Competitive rate of £27.30 per hourRequirements Qualified Social Worker (registered with Social Work England) Experience in Adults Social Care Proven experience completing community and care home reviews Strong assessment, analytical, and care planning skills Ability to manage duty responsibilities effectively Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)Why Join Us?
