Are you an expert in international air & sea freight logistics, ready to take charge of complex air and sea shipments from start to finish? About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced Air & Sea Freight Operator to coordinate end-to-end import and export operations. This is a hands-on role ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and top-tier customer service in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Shipment Coordination: Plan, book, and manage global air and sea freight shipments. Handle shipping documentation including HB/L, MB/L, AWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin. Customer & Supplier Liaison: Act as primary point of contact for clients, providing status updates and managing requirements. Negotiate competitive rates with carriers and shipping lines; collaborate with overseas agents for operational continuity. Compliance: Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms. Prepare customs clearance instructions and maintain accurate shipping records. Issue Resolution: Resolve shipment exceptions or delays. Proactively address logistical challenges and maintain service integrity. Financials: Verify supplier invoices, prepare billing, and ensure timely, accurate invoicing of all shipments.Key Requirements: Industry Experience: Minimum 2+ years in international freight forwarding/logistics (air & sea, imports/exports). Technical Expertise: Proficiency with freight management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Incoterms, and customs compliance. Personal Skills: Strong communicator and negotiator, highly organised, solutions-oriented, and calm under pressure. Languages: Fluent in English; additional languages advantageous.Why Apply?
