Air Conditioning Engineer

JWB Recruitment are proud to be working alongside a growing M&E company to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their expanding projects team. The Job: We’re looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing projects team, working on a wide range of refurbishment installations across the UK. You’ll be involved in delivering high‑quality AC installs within pubs, hospitals, retail environments, and commercial plant rooms, working alongside gas engineers, electricians, and other trades. What You’ll Be Doing * Installing a range of AC systems across commercial refurbishment projects * Working within plant rooms and live environments * Collaborating with multi‑discipline teams including gas engineers, electricians, and general trades * Travelling to sites across the UK and staying away (all travel time paid) * Delivering projects that typically last from a couple of days up to 8 weeks What We’re Looking For * Proven experience as an AC installation engineer * Strong understanding of commercial environments and refurbishment work * Comfortable working away when required * Willingness to work away from home * Ability to work safely and professionally within plant rooms and busy sites * Full UK driving licence * Relevant AC qualifications (F‑Gas etc.) What You’ll Get * £40,000 – £50,000 salary, depending on experience * Paid travel time * Monday–Friday working pattern (40 hours per week) * Consistent pipeline of varied, interesting projects * Supportive team and long‑term career stability
