Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking to join a stable, well-respected company with long-term contracts, excellent career progression? We are a well-established Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Mechanical and Heating provider, operating successfully for over 30 years. With a team of more than 200 highly skilled engineers, project managers, and support staff across the UK, we deliver reliable, high-quality engineering solutions to a diverse portfolio of blue-chip clients.
Our expertise spans the full lifecycle of building services, including design, installation, maintenance, and reactive support. We work across a wide range of sectors such as national and local government, NHS healthcare facilities, education campuses, commercial offices, retail environments, and large-scale distribution centres.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out warranty work, part replacements, fault finding, remedials, planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, and breakdowns.
* The role will be 80% air conditioning and 20% refrigeration
* Deliver a professional service, ensuring works are completed to the highest standard and in line with client expectations.
* Provide clear communication and accurate documentation for all works undertaken.
* Liaise with clients, site staff, and office teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Working on a wide variety of systems including
* VRV / VRF systems/
* Split system
* Close control systems
* CRAC units
* AHU package units
* Chillers
Requirements:
* FGAS 2079 Category 1 certification.
* Previous experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems.
* Strong technical knowledge of VRV/VRF, splits
* Full UK driving licence.
* Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
