Apply NowBranta Recruitment is currently recruiting for a skilled and qualified Mobile Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join a leading facilities management team based in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a range of commercial sites throughout Glasgow and the Central Belt, delivering high-quality maintenance, servicing, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
*
Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across a variety of commercial systems.
*
Service and maintain HVAC systems including:
*
Split systems
*
VRV/VRF systems
*
Chillers
*
Clean coils, replace filters, and perform system checks to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
*
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
*
Carry out inspections and make recommendations for system improvements.
*
Support complex installations or upgrades in collaboration with engineers and subcontractors.
*
Ensure full compliance with F-Gas regulations and site-specific health and safety standards.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
*
F-Gas Category 1 certification (essential).
*
Proven experience in a mobile HVAC or air conditioning engineer role.
*
Competence in servicing commercial and industrial cooling units.
*
Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
*
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
*
Confident working independently and managing your own workload across regional routes.
*
Strong communication and customer service skills.
*
Full UK driving licence (essential).
