Air Conditioning Engineer

Job Title: Air Conditioning Engineer Location: Oxford and surrounding Salary: up to £45,000pa / Travel paid / 40 hour week / 28 days holiday / private use of van / sick pay / pensions Company Overview We are a well-established building services and facilities engineering provider delivering installation, service, and maintenance solutions across commercial and high-end environments. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team, operating from our Oxford base and covering surrounding counties and West London. Role Overview As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and fault finding of a wide range of air conditioning and HVAC systems across commercial and specialist sites. You will represent the business professionally on client premises, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Service, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems including splits, multi-splits, VRV/VRF, and associated equipment Fault finding and diagnostics with effective resolution Installation and commissioning of new equipment where required Completion of job reports and documentation accurately and on time Maintaining strong customer relationships on site Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards and company procedures Participation in the out-of-hours on-call rota Working Hours & Overtime Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (40 hours per week with lunch) Flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and nights where business needs demand Authorised overtime paid as follows (after contractual hours completed): Monday – Friday: 1.5x hourly rate Saturday: 1.5x hourly rate Sunday: 2x hourly rate Travel Paid door-to-door travel (except when travelling directly between home and the office) Work primarily across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, with some London sites (mainly West & South West London areas) Company Vehicle Company vehicle provided (fuel card included) Road tax, insurance, servicing, and maintenance covered Private use permitted only with prior consent (charged at 20p per mile) #ENG1
