Job Title: Air Conditioning Engineer Location: South West Salary: £40,000 Industry: Air Conditioning This is an opportunity to work for a family-run AC specialist based in the South West of the UK. Ideal locations would be Bristol, Exeter, Bournemouth, and Plymouth. Job Overview: The role involves installing, servicing, and maintaining a wide range of air conditioning and HVAC systems across residential, commercial, and light industrial sites along the South West coast. Key Responsibilities: Installation of split, multi-split, and VRV/VRF air conditioning systems Routine servicing and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on AC systems Working on refrigeration circuits and electrical components Ensuring compliance with F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards Completing job reports, service sheets, and documentation accurately Providing technical support and advice to customers Participating in an on-call rota Requirements: Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or equivalent F-Gas Category 1 certification NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Full UK driving licence Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits: Competitive salary and overtime options Company vehicle and fuel card Tools, uniform, and PPE provided Ongoing training and development Pension scheme and holiday allowance Supportive team and onboarding If you are interested in applying for this position and would like to learn more, send your CV in confidence to the team here at YCR, and we will be in touch shortly.
