Office-based role
We are currently seeking an experienced Air Freight Clerk to join a busy and growing team based in Bradford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in freight forwarding to take ownership of import or export shipments from start to finish within a supportive and professional environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing air freight shipments end-to-end, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Duties will include:
* Quoting clients and liaising with agents and carriers to arrange collections and deliveries
* Preparing all relevant shipping documentation
* Handling import/export customs clearance
* Managing file costing and invoicing
Requirements
* Minimum 6 years’ experience working for a UK-based freight forwarder
* Strong knowledge of air freight operations (import and/or export)
* Experience using Cargowise is highly desirable
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
