We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Air Freight Operator to join our growing logistics team. This role is primarily focused on export operations, with a preference for candidates who also have import experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end air freight export shipments
* Coordinate with airlines, overseas agents, and customers
* Prepare and process all relevant export documentation
* Ensure compliance with customs regulations and industry standards
* Track and monitor shipments, providing updates to clients
* Handle bookings, rate negotiations, and billing processes
* Support import operations when required
Requirements:
* Proven experience in air freight operations (exports essential)
* Working knowledge of import procedures preferred
* Strong understanding of customs regulations and documentation
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Proficiency in freight systems and Microsoft Office
