The Role As a High Voltage Approved Electrician/Wireman, you'll support the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of HV electrical systems across a live substation project. You’ll work to industry‑leading safety standards while ensuring timely, compliant project delivery. What You’ll Be Doing * Installing and maintaining HV distribution equipment, SCADA, signalling, and control systems * Containment installation: tray, trunking, conduit, ladder rack * Small wiring & multi‑core cable works * Fault finding, diagnostics, and testing * Completing installation reports, test certs & daily records * Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications * Using and maintaining HV tools and test equipment safely * Working collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and operatives What You Need ✔️ JIB Graded Electrician – Approved Electrician (2391 essential) ✔️ 18th Edition (BS 7671) ✔️ Proven HV substation experience ✔️ Strong knowledge of site safety and HV standards ✔️ Confident reading technical drawings and wiring diagrams ✔️ Experience in testing & inspection Why Join Us? ✨ Work on major renewable energy & national infrastructure projects ✨ Be part of a highly skilled, safety‑driven team ✨ Long‑term stability with opportunities for progression ✨ Access to further training and certification pathways Ready to Apply?
