Architectural Technologist
Location: Leeds, City Centre
Salary: Up to £45,000 + hybrid working
We are seeking a motivated Architectural Technologist to join a well-established, award-winning multidisciplinary practice based in Leeds City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to develop their technical expertise within an AJ Top 100 practice, working on large-scale, complex projects with a strong emphasis on quality, innovation and sustainability.
You will be part of a collaborative technical team, supporting the delivery of projects from concept through to completion across the Education sector, with opportunities to contribute to Commercial and Residential developments. Projects typically range from £5m to £100m+ in value.

Architectural Technologist Overview
Produce, coordinate and review detailed technical drawing packages across all RIBA stages
Support the technical delivery of large-scale Education projects from concept through to completion
Develop detailed, compliant and buildable technical solutions in line with UK Building Regulations and industry best practice
Produce and review comprehensive technical packages of information using Revit
Work closely with Architects, Senior Technologists and multidisciplinary project teams to coordinate design information
Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors, attending design team meetings where required
Assist in coordinating projects through planning, technical design and construction stages
Manage workload effectively across multiple live projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets and quality standards are achieved
Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical standards, procedures and project delivery
Research and develop innovative technical solutions, adding value to projects through proactive problem solving
Architectural Technologist Requirements
Degree (BSc) or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology
2-5 years' post-graduation experience within a UK architectural practice
Strong working knowledge of Revit and Microsoft Office
Good understanding of the UK Planning process and Building Regulations
Experience producing detailed technical packages across multiple RIBA stages
NBS software experience would be advantageous
MCIAT status, or working towards Chartership, would be advantageous
Excellent written, verbal and graphical communication skills
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment
Proactive, technically confident and committed to continuous professional development
