We’re looking for a driven and personable Area Sales Manager to help grow our presence across the UK, build lasting customer relationships, and play a key role in our continued success. The Opportunity: As an Area Sales Manager, you’ll have the autonomy to manage your own territory while being supported by a knowledgeable and collaborative team. This is a varied role combining customer interaction, on-site demonstrations, and strategic sales planning—perfect for someone who enjoys being out in the field as much as working behind the scenes. You’ll be trusted to make decisions, develop opportunities, and deliver results, all while providing an outstanding experience to customers. What You’ll Be Doing: • Driving Sales Growth: Proactively identify opportunities and maximise sales of new and used machinery within your territory • Building Relationships: Develop strong, long-term partnerships with customers, becoming a trusted advisor • Achieving Targets: Take ownership of your performance and work towards (and exceed) sales goals • Customer Support: Provide expert advice and guidance on product use, ensuring safe and efficient operation • Quotations & Orders: Prepare accurate, timely quotations and manage orders through to completion • Events & Networking: Represent the business at shows, exhibitions, and customer visits, showcasing our products • Product Demonstrations: Plan and deliver engaging machinery demonstrations alongside senior colleagues • Trade-Ins: Accurately assess and document part-exchange machinery What We’re Looking For: • A strong understanding of agricultural machinery and the farming environment • Previous experience in a sales role, ideally within agriculture or a related industry • Knowledge of GPS and Precision Agriculture technology – aware • A self-starter who is motivated, target-driven, and organised • Excellent communication skills and a professional, approachable manner • Full UK driving licence It Would Be Great If You Also Have: • Knowledge of farming practices and agronomy • Experience operating agricultural machinery • A willingness to learn and develop through ongoing training • PA1 & PA2 certifications (a bonus, not essential) What You’ll Get in Return: • A competitive salary • Flexible working options and TOIL to support work-life balance • Monthly recognition through gift voucher awards • Company vehicle, fuel allowance, laptop, and mobile phone • Company pension scheme • Generous holiday allowance that increases with service
