The Company
A leading supplier of bathroom products is seeking a motivated Area Sales Manager to join it's field sales team. This is a proactive, new business-focused role, centred on identifying opportunities on active construction sites and securing immediate sales. You do NOT need to have Bathroom Sales experience, but the contacts and knowledge of the area are critical
We have the following areas you could be located in:
South Central/London
Midlands
North West
The Role
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing business across your territory by visiting active building sites, identifying decision-makers and converting opportunities into sales.
This is a true field sales position where success is driven by daily prospecting, face-to-face customer visits and building strong relationships with construction professionals. You will manage your own territory, identify new developments and ensure customers receive outstanding service from enquiry through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect live construction sites within your territory.
Introduce the company's products and services to potential customers.
Build relationships with site managers, project managers and purchasing decision-makers.
Generate new business through daily field activity.
Identify opportunities on residential and commercial developments.
Produce quotations and follow up enquiries.
Negotiate pricing within agreed company guidelines.
Secure new orders and maximise repeat business.
Monitor local construction activity and competitor presence.
Maintain accurate customer records using the CRM system.
Work closely with internal sales and operations teams to ensure excellent customer service.
Consistently achieve sales and activity targets.
