Area Sales Manager – Blinds and Shutters Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Blinds and Shutters Industry Sector: Window Blinds, Fabrics, Textile Printing, Roller Blinds, Shutters, Interior Building Products, Installers, Window Blind Manufacturers, fabricators, Installers, merchants and retailers Area to be covered: West Midlands, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Mid & South Wales, Gloucestershire and Somerset Based: Ideally West Midlands Remuneration: £35,000 - £38,000 + £8,000-£10,000 commission Benefits: Tesla Company car & company benefits The role of the Area Sales Manager – Blinds and Shutters will involve: * Field sales position selling a manufactured range of components and fabrics for blinds and shutters * Direct sell into small business end users historically * All of your time will be spent selling direct to the trade via: shutter and blind manufacturers, installers, contractors, independent one man bands and sub-contractors as well as merchants and blind retailers * Inheriting a well-established area only available due to an internal promotion * Currently turning over circa £3m * 95% account management role, circa (Apply online only) active spending customers on patch * Typically three customers per day (some over teams), four days per week, one day working from home/ admin * Majority of your work will be in the West Midlands The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager – Blinds and Shutters with: * Must have field sales experience selling direct to the trade * Ideally experience selling into small business end users * Preferably some experience selling into manufacturers, installers, contractors, independent one man bands and sub-contractors or well as merchants/ blind retailers * Specific knowledge or blinds, shutters id not required * Our client is very open on field sales product backgrounds * Must be able to plan your own diary * Account management capability/ relationships building skills * Friendly team player with drive and enthusiasm Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Sales Jobs, Construction sales vacancies and Specification sales positions within: Window Blinds, Fabrics, Textile Printing, Roller Blinds, Shutters, Interior Building Products, Installers, and Window Blind Manufacturers, fabricators, Installers, merchants and retailers
