Area Sales Manager – LVT, Carpet & Wood Flooring Job Title: Area Sales Manager – LVT, Carpet and Wood Flooring Industry Sector: Flooring, Independent Retailers, Retail Showrooms, Buying Group Members, Flooring Retailers & Distributors, Carpet, LVT, Vinyl Flooring, Tufted Carpet Areas to be covered: South West & South Wales Remuneration: £37,000-£40,000 basic £50,000 uncapped OTE Benefits: Fully expensed hybrid car & full benefits The role of the Area Sales Manager – LVT, Carpet and Wood Flooring will involve: * Field sales position selling a mid to high end manufactured range of carpet, high quality range of LVT and engineered wood flooring * Selling into independent flooring retailers and buying group members * Responsible for circa 250 retail and buying group customers on patch * £2m revenue responsibility * Tasked with growing an area, high growth in LVT and engineered wood in particular * 90% account management, 10% new business development position * Account sizes will vary from £5,000 per annum up to £70,000 per annum * 6 calls per day (1-2 days per month working from home/ admin) * Supporting retail showrooms with merchandising The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – LVT, Carpet and Wood Flooring with: * Must have proven field sales experience with LVT luxury vinyl tile, carpet or wood flooring * Must have sold into flooring retail showrooms or buying group members * Must be comfortable selling POS (point of sale) displays * Would consider flooring/ carpet retail showroom experience if can demonstrate strong determination and desire for a field sales role * Comfortable with occasional overnight stays when required * Self motivated/ enthusiastic * Commercially aware * Ideally worked for a flooring manufacturer The Company: * Part of a larger group * Circa 50 UK employees * Approx. £50m UK turnover Mitchell Maguire is a specialist construction field sales recruitment consultancy, dealing exclusively with construction field sales jobs, construction field sales vacancies and specification field sales positions within: Flooring, Independent Retailers, Retail Showrooms, Buying Group Members, Flooring Retailers & Distributors, Carpet, LVT, Vinyl Flooring and Tufted Carpet
