Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for a passionate and creative Art & Photography Teacher to join a dedicated SEN school in Stockport. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students with additional needs through engaging and expressive teaching.
The role is to start on 5th May, with the potential to become a temp-to-perm position for the right candidate.
The Role:
Deliver engaging Art and Photography lessons tailored to students with Special Educational Needs
Adapt teaching methods to support a range of learning abilities and needs
Foster creativity, confidence, and self-expression in students
Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential (non-negotiable)
Experience working within an SEN setting or with students with additional needs is highly desirable
Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
A patient, empathetic, and creative approach to teaching
