ASD Support Tutor
We are currently seeking an experienced tutor to support a Year 6 pupil in the Prescot area who has been out of education for an extended period.
This is a one to one, in-person role supporting a learner with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), working below age-related expectations. The successful tutor will play a key role in re-engaging the student with education through a structured, patient, and supportive approach.

Location: Prescot (L34)
Provision: One to one in-person tuition
Hours: 10 hours per week
5 hours English
5 hours Maths
Schedule: Flexible daytime availability

Deliver personalised English and Maths sessions
Carry out baseline assessments and plan accordingly
Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
Build a positive and trusting relationship with the student
Monitor progress and provide regular feedbackRequirements
Experience working with students with ASD or additional needs
Background in primary education or SEN support
Ability to differentiate for lower-level learners
Patient, flexible, and engaging approach
Understanding of safeguarding responsibilitiesAdditional Information
