ASD Teaching Assistant Location: Reading Start Date: ASAP Pay: £85 - £105 per day Contract: Full-time, Temporary Academics is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ASD Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and vibrant primary school in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity for an ASD Teaching Assistant who is looking to take on a rewarding new challenge and make a meaningful difference in a child's educational journey. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 support as an ASD Teaching Assistant for a pupil with mild Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Monitor and report on the child's progress, achievements, and individual needs Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, promoting equality and inclusion Encourage social interaction and active participation in classroom activitiesWhat We're Looking For A basic understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and learning barriers Experience working with children or young people in an educational or training setting A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach A genuine passion for supporting children in a role such as ASD Teaching AssistantWhy Join This Role?
