The Role – Assembly Fitter
As an Assembly Fitter, you’ll play a vital role in the assembly and build of high‑quality products within a structured production environment. This Assembly Fitter position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work and takes pride in quality and consistency.
Key responsibilities of the Assembly Fitter include:
Assembly of sub‑assemblies and main assemblies to defined processes
Working from assembly drawings and process sheets
Maintaining productivity and quality standards
Working in line with risk assessments and health & safety procedures
Being a reliable, engaged Assembly Fitter within the production teamHours & Contract
Permanent position
39 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
Friday: 7:30am – 3:00pm
½ hour unpaid lunch breakSalary
£28,067.52 – £30,115.80 per annum (dependent on experience)Benefits & Rewards
Profit‑related bonus scheme (5% of basic salary)
25 days holiday Bank Holidays
Personal Pension Scheme:
3.5% employee 5.5% employer
5% employee 7.5% employer
Enrolment after 3 months
