Assembly Operative Location: Coventry Salary: £13.50 - £14.50 per hour Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM Breaks: * Morning Break: 08:40 AM - 09:00 AM * Lunch Break: 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM (15 minutes paid) Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Assembler to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components for high-quality vehicles, using various hand tools, air tools, and gluing tools. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a team, and the capability to follow precise assembly instructions. Key Responsibilities * Assembly of Components: Assemble parts and components into finished products, ensuring all parts fit correctly and meet quality standards. * Use of Tools: Safely operate hand tools, air tools, and gluing tools in the assembly process. * Quality Control: Inspect assembled products for any defects or issues, ensuring that all parts meet the company's quality standards before completion. * Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth production flow. * Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety guidelines. * Reporting: Report any technical issues or defects to the supervisor promptly. * Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and skill development to improve efficiency and quality in assembly work. Skills & Qualifications * Proven experience as an Assembler or in a similar manufacturing or production role. * Familiarity with Hand and Power Tools: Must have experience using hand tools, air tools. * Attention to Detail: Ability to follow detailed assembly instructions and ensure quality in every aspect of the work. * Team Player: Able to work effectively within a team, communicating well and contributing to a positive working environment. * Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks. * Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and contribute to finding solutions. * Health & Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean workspace in line with company safety policies.
