Assembly Operator

The Company;

MTrec are currently recruiting for a prestigious manufacturing company based in the Durham area.

The Role;

* Cutting, stripping, and preparing wires to specification

* Crimping and assembling components using hand tools such as wire cutters

* Inserting wires into cable heads accurately and efficiently

* Operating air tools to seal cable casings

* Carrying out dexterous assembly work with a high level of precision

* Conducting quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards

* Following all health and safety guidelines and procedures

* Maintaining a clean and organised workspace

The Person;

* Good attitude towards work and always looking to learn

* Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar role is desirable but not essential

* Experience using hand tools

* Physically fit, can be standing at workbenches for majority of shift

* Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

* Ability to follow instructions and technical specifications

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Positive attitude and willingness to learn

The Pay;

* £12.71 per hour
