Assistant Electrical Design Engineer

in Western-Super-Mare.     Candidates are required have the following academic background for this role;  -BSc and/or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or a HNC/HND Building Services Engineering (Electrical) or Electrical & Electronic Engineering and ideally experience using Dialux for electrical designs.   -You may also apply if you are currently working as a Qualified or Approved Electrician who wants to transition into a design role.  You will be required to hold qualifications City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent or City & Guilds 2396.   Candidates are also required to have  experience completing electrical designs cabling and lighting designs for industrial, commercial and international projects using Relux or Dialux or Amtech.     It is beneficial for applicants to reside near Western-Super-Mare and have experience completing major infrastructure projects and have experience completing site visits to discuss designs with contractors and clients.   Candidates will be required to reside locally to work on a hybrid basis.     Excellent communications skills will also be required to liaise with contractors and clients on site.   As an Assistant Electrical Design Engineer, you will join a supportive team based in Western-Super-Mare to complete electrical cabling and lighting designs for commercial, industrial, residential and mixed-use development projects using Revit, Amtech, Dialux, Relux and AutoCAD.  You will also be expected to deliver projects to time and budget, meeting Clients’ expectations.  You will attend site visits to meet and coordinate between internal and external design teams, clients, architects and contractors to discuss sustainable design concepts.  This role offers a competitive salary, flexible benefits and major infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally.  You will also have the chance to progress your career, receive design training and complete varied projects across a wide variety of sectors.     If this role is of interest to you, please contact Jordanna Morris at Aztrum
