Role Overview
The Assistant Project Manager & Estimator will support the delivery of residential maintenance projects from initial enquiry through to completion. Working closely with the Project Manager, this role combines estimating, coordination and site-based oversight, ensuring projects are organised, efficiently managed and completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with the Project Manager to prepare quotes and schedule works
Plan, schedule and manage engineers’ daily workloads
Coordinate projects from initial client enquiry through to completion
Liaise with homeowners, tenants, landlords and managing agents
Handle client enquiries, requests and complaints in a professional manner
Attend site visits to assess works, scope projects and allocate resources
Maintain accurate organisation, documentation and project tracking
Ensure works are delivered on time and to required standards

Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role or strong on-site residential experience
Background within the domestic and residential construction or maintenance sector
Solid understanding of on-site processes to accurately assess and plan works
Full, clean UK driving licence
Confident working both in an office environment and on-site
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and support engineers
Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
Highly organised, detail-focused and proactive approach
Ability to work independently, make decisions and resolve issues effectively
Preference for candidates based locally to the area
Preference for candidates from a trade background

What’s on Offer

Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm
