Tradeline have partnered with a shopfitting contractor that is looking to appoint a Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of retail fit-out projects across Ireland and the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in commercial or retail construction who is looking to take on a varied role, working closely with senior management and clients from pre-construction through to project completion.
The Role
* Support the Senior Project Manager with the day-to-day delivery of multiple shopfitting projects.
* Assist with project planning and coordinate with clients, designers and subcontractors.
* Help manage project programmes, budgets and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
* Ensure projects meet health & safety, quality and building regulation requirements.
* Identify and manage project risks to minimise delays.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and project teams.
* Work alongside senior management to improve processes and support future business growth.
Requirements
* 3+ years' experience in a Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager or similar construction role.
* Experience delivering commercial or retail fit-out/shopfitting projects.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, with AutoCAD experience beneficial.
* Able to work on your own initiative and manage multiple projects.
* Experience working within the Irish or UK construction market.
* Fluent English.
* Spanish language skills would be an advantage but are not essential.
* Knowledge of retail fire alarm and sprinkler systems would be beneficial but is not essential.
