Assistant SENDCo – Full Time (Permanent)

Salary: Grade G Point 8–13 (£26,824 – £29,064 FTE)
Actual Salary: £24,255 – £26,280 (pro-rata)
Hours: 37 per week
Location: Northamptonshire
Start Date: ASAP
Closing Date: Monday 30 March 2026

About the Role

Are you passionate about inclusive education and ready to make a real impact? We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant SENDCo to support the delivery of high-quality SEND provision. This is an exciting opportunity to champion the needs of learners, strengthen inclusive practice, and help ensure every student feels supported to succeed.

About You

You are an enthusiastic and reflective practitioner with a strong understanding of SEND and a commitment to inclusive education. You will:

Support teachers in meeting the needs of students with additional needs
Work effectively with families and external agencies
Help coordinate personalised support and interventions
Demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills
Embrace ongoing professional development
Contribute positively to the wider school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
