Assistant Site Manager – Immediate Requirement 📍 Cardiff | ⏱ Immediate Start | 📅 12+ Months Work (temp to perm option available) We are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join a prestigious multi-million pound construction project in Cardiff. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience on a large-scale development while working with an established contractor. Long-term work (12 months+) and an immediate start are available. Key Responsibilities: * Supporting the Site Manager with day-to-day site operations * Assisting with coordination of subcontractors and site activities * Helping to ensure work is delivered safely, on programme, and to high quality standards * Monitoring site progress and reporting updates to the wider team * Maintaining health & safety standards and site compliance * Assisting with site documentation, inductions, and general site management duties Requirements: * Previous experience in a Site Supervisor or Assistant Site Manager role * Experience in construction (structural, build, or fit-out experience all considered) * Willingness to learn and develop on a large-scale project * Valid CSCS card (SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid beneficial but not essential) * Good communication and organisational skills * Ability to start ASAP What’s on Offer: * Immediate start * 12 months+ work on a prestigious Cardiff project * Opportunity to gain experience on a major development * Competitive rates If you’re an aspiring or experienced Assistant Site Manager looking for your next opportunity, we’d like to hear from you
