Assistant Site Manager Location: Newquay Job Type: Permanent A quality-driven, award-winning residential developer is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a new housing development. Working closely with the Site Manager, you will play a key role in driving the successful delivery of this residential scheme. You will assist in overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered on time, to the highest standards of quality, and in full compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: * Support the Site Manager in the delivery of the housing development * Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and directly employed labour * Maintain exceptional standards of quality across all stages of construction * Ensure strict adherence to health & safety procedures and legislation * Liaise regularly with NHBC and Building Control * Assist with site organisation, logistics, and programme management Requirements: * Proven experience in housebuilding in a similar role * Strong knowledge of both traditional (brick & block) build methods * Up-to-date understanding of health & safety regulations * Relevant certifications: SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work * Strong organisational and communication skills * A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality homes * Previous experience on award-winning sites and good knowledge of NHBC standards is highly desirable What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary * Car allowance * Pension scheme * Performance-related bonus This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected developer known for delivering high-quality homes and award-winning developments.
