Assistant Site Manager Location: Nottingham Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Rate: £24.91 per hour Assistant Site Manager - Damp & Mould Schemes - Social Housing I'm working with a large, well-established contractor delivering social housing refurbishment works. The contractor operates across a range of sectors including new build housing, social housing refurbishments, and commercial projects. They are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of damp & mould remediation works across occupied social housing properties in Nottingham. The Role: Assisting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of damp & mould refurbishment projects Coordinating subcontractors carrying out remediation and associated works Supervising trades working within occupied properties Ensuring works are carried out safely and in line with programme Carrying out site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings Monitoring quality of workmanship and reporting defects or issues Liaising with residents, client representatives, and internal teams Maintaining site paperwork including daily diaries, H&S records, and progress updates Key Requirements: Previous experience in an Assistant Site Manager or supervisory role within social housing refurbishment Experience working on damp & mould schemes preferred Strong understanding of health & safety and working in occupied properties Good communication and organisational skills CSCS (essential), SMSTS or SSSTS preferred, First Aid advantageous
