Banksman

Job Title: Banksman Location: Silvertown Pay: £14.05 per hour Start: ASAP Contract: Ongoing About the Role: We are looking for a reliable and proactive Banksman to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and safe movement of goods across our site. Key Responsibilities: * Assist forklift drivers between units while loads are being moved. * Ensure shutters and warehouses are securely closed after job completion across ELCC. * Liaise with drivers for booking references on arrival and allocate loading spots efficiently. * Manage traffic flow in the yard to minimize congestion of delivery vehicles. * Support the warehouse team with processing deliveries into storage via the WJ Fulcrum system. Requirements: * Experience in a similar role is desirable. * Strong communication skills and attention to safety. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * CPCS or NPORS.
