Behaviour Lead/Manager Secondary School – Greenwich Full-time Start Date: Immediate Are you calm under pressure and passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives? Do you have experience working in a school setting working with pupils who have SEMH needs? A large, inclusive secondary school in Greenwich is seeking proactive and compassionate Behaviour Support lead to join their Inclusion team asap. This role is ideal for individuals with experience supporting students with challenging behaviour or Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The Role As a Behaviour Lead, you will provide crucial on-call support across the school day. When students become disruptive or are struggling in class, you’ll be called to safely remove them from lessons, help them regulate their emotions, and support them in returning to learning as quickly as possible. Your calm, empathetic and consistent approach will play a key part in maintaining a positive learning environment across the school. Key Responsibilities Respond to on-call behaviour alerts throughout the school Support students in emotional regulation and de-escalation Work closely with pastoral and SEN teams Encourage a smooth reintegration of students back into lessonsAbout the School This is a large, mixed secondary school in Greenwich that prides itself on its inclusive ethos and vibrant school community.
