Teacher / Intervention Specialist – PRU (Secondary) | Sherborne | Full-Time | 8:30am–3:30pm We are recruiting for a passionate and adaptable Teacher (or experienced Intervention Specialist) to join a dynamic Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Sherborne. This role involves delivering engaging lessons and targeted interventions to secondary-aged pupils who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion. The Role: Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to small groups Providing targeted interventions to support academic and emotional development Engaging students through creative and alternative teaching approaches Supporting pupils in re-engaging with education Working collaboratively with support staff and leadership The School: A highly supportive and creative PRU environment Focus on personalised learning and student progression Strong emphasis on career pathways and future opportunities Collaborative and well-resourced team We Are Looking For Someone Who: Holds QTS Has experience working with SEMH, SEN, or challenging behaviour Is confident managing behaviour in a calm and consistent manner Can engage and inspire students who may be disengaged from education Is flexible, resilient, and committed to making a difference Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (full-time) This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a setting where you can have a real impact on students’ lives and futures.
