Hyde Coatings Ltd has a vacancy for a Bid and Proposal Co-ordinator Apprentice working in our bespoke treatment facility in Stalybridge. As a Bid and Proposal Co-ordinator Apprentice, you will be an integral part of the team ensuring processes run smoothly from initial customer enquiry through to final delivery. A key part of the role is to engage in proactive communication with key customers to provide updates on their specific project throughout its lifecycle. This will entail liaising with the different departments within the business (engineering, operations, stores etc.) as necessary to ensure accurate information is always available. You will often be involved with customers or suppliers, either by telephone or face to face, and so a friendly approachable demeanour is a must. Main Duties * Supporting key customers. * Regular orderbook updates. * Proactive communication. * Handle queries and escalations. * Processing new quotation enquiries. * Running and updating internal key performance indicators. * Interpreting engineering drawings and CAD models. Full Training will be provided for the above duties. Essential Requirements * Awareness of IT systems (Microsoft office). * Genuine interest in working in an office/production environment. * Excellent attention to detail. * Positive, friendly and Customer focussed attitude. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. * Ability to work closely as a part of a team and individually as necessary. * Great attitude towards learning and developing. Qualifications English and Maths grade 5-9/A-C predicted or actual (essential) and 3 other GCSE's at 5-9/A-C (optional).
