Job role: Trainee Block Manager

Location: Pinner (On-site)

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum

Employment Type: Full-Time

The Role:

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly motivated and organised Trainee Block Manager to join a professional property management team in Pinner. This is a brilliant entry-level opportunity for an individual eager to build a career in the property sector.

Working under the guidance of Senior Block Managers, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of a mixed portfolio of residential and commercial properties. This role balances office-based administration with active site inspections and contractor management.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of residential and commercial blocks.

Act as the primary liaison between clients and contractors to ensure repairs and maintenance are completed efficiently.

Conduct regular property visits to monitor condition, identify defects, and ensure high standards of upkeep.

Ensure all managed buildings adhere to health, safety, and fire safety regulations.

Assist with the preparation and handling of service charge budgets and financial tracking.

Maintain excellent communication with residents and stakeholders, ensuring a professional and responsive service.

Candidate Profile:

This role is ideal for a proactive "self-starter" who thrives in a varied environment. While property experience is a bonus, we are looking for the following core competencies:

Strong verbal and written skills for high-level professional interactions.

Exceptional time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

A logical and calm approach to resolving property and maintenance issues.

Proficiency in standard IT packages; experience with property management software is advantageous.

A full UK driving licence is essential for site visits and property inspections.

A positive, "can-do" mindset and a genuine eagerness to learn the property management industry.
