We're supporting a prestigious global technology client in recruiting a BMS & Controls Engineer to join their high-performing engineering team. This is a critical role in a technically advanced, smart-building environment where innovation, resilience, and performance are key.

πŸ”§ What you'll be doing:
βœ”οΈ Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works on-site BMS
βœ”οΈ Monitor system performance, running conditions, and alarms
βœ”οΈ Act as the technical point of contact for clients and on-site technical teams
βœ”οΈ Ensure environmental controls meet required specifications and tolerances
βœ”οΈ Carry out system checks, diagnostics, and performance optimisation
βœ”οΈ Apply and manage change control procedures across documentation, software, and hardware
βœ”οΈ Review and improve alarm management protocols
βœ”οΈ Support site and client management during emergency procedures
βœ”οΈ Conduct inspections, testing, maintenance, modifications, and fault finding on mechanical and electrical plant
βœ”οΈ Investigate and rectify faults in building services systems
βœ”οΈ Support start-up, operation, and shutdown of plant and systems when authorised
βœ”οΈ Perform technical and quality audits to ensure statutory compliance
βœ”οΈ Identify and implement system enhancements to improve resilience and performance
βœ”οΈ Attend operational and technical meetings as required
βœ”οΈ Analyse and report on data from Fault Detection & Diagnostics (FDD) systems
βœ”οΈ Maintain smart building systems and IoT integrations (including MQTT and API integrations)

πŸ‘· What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in a similar BMS/Controls Engineering role
* Strong working knowledge of Building Management Systems, including Tridium and EasyIO platforms
* Experience with BMS communication protocols such as BACnet and Modbus
* Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical building services
* Fundamental knowledge of IT networking
* Strong diagnostic and analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* A collaborative, team-oriented approach
