BMS Engineer

Vantage is recruiting for a BMS Engineer on behalf of a growing automation and controls specialist supporting one of the world's largest pharmaceutical manufacturing sites. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a technically advanced, highly regulated facility where you'll play a key role in managing critical Building Management Systems.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and review BMS project documentation, including functional and design specifications.
Support software and hardware development for Building Management Systems.
Produce and execute test specifications, validation documentation and change controls.
Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
Work closely with Automation, IT, Quality Assurance and external vendors to deliver projects.
Support the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of BMS infrastructure.
Contribute to project planning, schedules and documentation tracking.
Ensure all work is completed in line with pharmaceutical quality and compliance standards.
The Ideal Candidate
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of three years' experience in a BMS or automation engineering role.
Strong knowledge of Siemens Desigo CC, Xworks and PX Controllers.
Experience with utility systems such as chilled water, hot water or steam generation would be advantageous.
Good understanding of controls systems, PLCs, networking, field wiring and control panels.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong organisational skills with experience working within regulated environments.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
