BMS Static Engineer

Job Title: BMS Static Engineer Location: Brixton, London Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Up to £60,000 Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable BMS (Building Management System) Static Engineer to join a well establish client you will be based on-site at a hospital in Brixton. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimisation of Trend BMS systems, ensuring critical hospital environments remain safe, compliant, and energy efficient Key Responsibilities * Operate, monitor, and maintain Trend BMS systems across hospital facilities * Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and repair of BMS controls and associated plant * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks * Ensure HVAC systems are functioning efficiently and within required parameters * Monitor alarms and respond promptly to system faults or failures * Adjust and optimise system settings for energy efficiency and performance * Maintain accurate records of works carried out, including logs and reports * Liaise with hospital staff, contractors, and management teams * Support compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards * Assist with small works, upgrades, and system improvements where required Qualifications * Relevant engineering qualification (e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services) * Trend BMS training/certification (highly desirable) * City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent (preferred) Benefits * Salary up to £60,000 * Car allowance * Pension scheme * Training and development opportunities * Stable, long-term static role
