Building Control Consultant
Do you miss being able to advise clients?
If you’re Class 2 or 3 and looking to move into a consultancy role, this one’s well worth a look.
What we’re looking for:
Strong on‑site project delivery experience, with a track record of seeing projects through to completion
Experience working on High Risk Buildings is desirable
Experience mentoring or peer reviewing other members of staff (nice to have)
Genuine passion for the construction industry and wanting to impart your knowledge with others such as end clients, architects and other members of the team.
They value feeling part of a team, so they come into the office some of the time to keep that collaboration strong, while still enjoying the perks of hybrid working.
Why it’s worth a conversation:
Flexible working – no panicking over school runs or doctor’s appointments that are like gold dust!
Trust & autonomy – freedom from being chained to a 9–5
Your birthday off – completely yours
Christmas shutdown – no annual leave used, plus options to buy or sell holidays
Comprehensive healthcare benefits
The extra good stuff:
EV car, tech and cycle‑to‑work schemes via salary sacrifice
Enhanced maternity/paternity packages
Moving house support – because big life moments deserve proper backing
Development & progression:
Paid professional development days (on top of annual leave)
A clear career roadmap and personal development plan
Culture & team:
Charity initiatives, volunteering and referral schemes
Regular socials and proper team lunches (no sad desk sandwiches)
