Job Title: Business Development Manager – Civils & Construction Materials
Industry Sector: Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Representative, Sales Executive, Above Ground Drainage, Below Ground Drainage, SUDs, Access Covers, Pressure Pipeline, Precast Concrete, Water Management Systems, Drainage, Retaining Walls, Tanks, Attenuation, Concrete Panels, Local Authorities, Public Utilities, Civil Engineers, Groundworking Contractors, Groundworkers, Civil Engineering Contractors, Housebuilders, Developers
Area to be covered: Midlands (can offer both an external or hybrid internal position)
Remuneration: £40,000 - £60,000 + circa £5,000 bonus
Benefits: company car (if required) & standard company benefits
The role of the Business Development Manager – Civils & Construction Materials will involve:
* Field sales position selling a distributed range of civil engineering, below ground, above ground civils & construction products
* All of your time will be spent selling to civil engineers, contractors, ground workers, developers and housebuilders
* Will liaise with other distributors / merchants for stock as & when required
* Turnover target £2m
* Predominately new business however will have great support and accounts to go after
The ideal applicants will Business Development Manager – Civils & Construction Materials with:
* Must have sales experience in the bundling trade selling direct to contactors, builders & merchants
* Ideally sold to civil engineers, contractors, ground workers, developers and housebuilders
* Would consider a manufacturer rep
* Account management/ and new business development skills
