💰 Up to £65,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission + Car / Allowance
The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a highly respected engineering manufacturer within the packaging machinery sector, known for delivering high-performance, low-failure equipment with an outstanding reputation across the market.
Part of a wider international group with a turnover of circa £50 million, the business continues to grow through innovation, product quality, and long-term customer partnerships.
The Role
This is a true new business role focused on developing and winning customers across the UK & Ireland.
You will manage opportunities across two key areas:
* Fast-paced sales – turning around smaller quotes (£10k–£50k) quickly and efficiently
* Capital equipment projects – managing larger, more complex sales cycles with procurement and senior stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
* Generate and convert new business opportunities
* Manage the full sales cycle from prospect to close
* Produce accurate and timely quotations
* Handle both short-cycle and long-cycle sales processes
* Attend customer meetings, demonstrations, and industry events
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline to exceed targets
The Candidate
We are looking for a driven, commercially focused sales professional with experience in machinery or capital equipment sales.
You will:
* Have a proven track record in new business development
* Be confident selling technical solutions and ROI
* Be highly self-motivated and target-driven
* Be comfortable managing both quick wins and longer-term deals
