Business travel consultants - Out of hours duties
-Working out of hours, answering calls and emails from clients in a polite, efficient, and professional manner
-Offering expert advise in all aspects of travel
-Maintain the outstanding level of customer service provided by the ‘day’ team
-Work as part of an efficient team, communicating effectively both internally and externally
-To issue, re-issue and perform re-calculations of international and domestic airfares using sabre
-Sourcing the best and most cost-effective worldwide routes booking all flights, rail, hotel and all ground product
Business travel Out of hours consultants Skills Required:
-Previous Out of hours experience
Knowledgeable on Sabre
-Fares & Ticketing Level 1 & 2 (or equivalent experience) essential
-Knowledge of Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
-Possess good geographical and product knowledge of destinations and airlines
-On the pulse with world events and likely travel implications
Additional information
-4 shifts per week, typically 2 midweek and 2 during the weekend
-Shift patterns Monday to Friday 6pm to 1.30am and 1am to 8am, during the weekends 9am to 5.30pm, 5pm to 1.30am and 1am to 9am
-Currently one full weekend off every 5/6
