An established construction contractor in the North West is seeking a Temp Procurement / Buying Support professional to assist a busy operational team.
This role will support ongoing procurement activity across live works, working alongside experienced team members to ensure materials and services are ordered efficiently and on time.
The Role
Supporting procurement and buying activity for live construction works
Raising and managing purchase orders
Liaising with suppliers and internal teams
Assisting with pricing, availability, and delivery coordination
Operating in a fast‑paced, reactive environment
Experience Required
At least 1 year’s experience in procurement or buying (construction preferred)
Comfortable working in an operational environment
Confident communicator, able to pick things up quickly
Happy to ask questions and work with guidance where needed
