CAD Draughtsman/Technician | Port Talbot We are working with a well-established engineering consultancy in Port Talbot who are looking to appoint a CAD Draughtsman to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to contribute to a variety of engineering projects, working in a collaborative and supportive environment. Role Overview As a CAD Draughtsman, you will be responsible for producing accurate 2D and 3D drawings to support structural and civil engineering projects. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs are effectively translated into detailed drawings for construction and approval purposes. Key responsibilities include: Producing CAD drawings (2D and 3D) for structural and civil engineering projects Working from sketches, technical drawings, and engineering instructions Coordinating drawings with engineers and project teams Revising and updating drawings to reflect design changes Assisting with site layouts and technical details as required Candidate Requirements Proven experience as a CAD Draughtsman within civil or structural engineering Proficient in AutoCAD (experience with Revit or Tekla is a plus) Good understanding of engineering design and construction processes Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills Package Competitive salary, dependent on experience 23 days annual leave + bank holidays Pension scheme Supportive and collaborative working environment Opportunities for professional development and career progression
