CAD Programmer Wanted – Immediate Start! Location: Leicester Salary: £35,000+ per annum Shifts: Full-time | 40 hours per week Mon-Fri Are you an experienced CAD Programmer? Regional Recruitment Services are recruiting on behalf of an industry-leading manufacturer for a CAD Programmer to join their Design & Manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a growing sheet metal and laser cutting business. This role offers long term career development and the opportunity to work on projects from concept through to production within a professional engineering environment. Roles & Responsibilities Producing 2D CAD drawings and flat patterns using SolidWorks Programming CNC laser cutting machines within agreed production timescales Nesting drawings to maximise material usage and production efficiency Creating and maintaining accurate CAD/CAM programs for manufacturing Supporting the fabrication team with folding, forming and assembly instructions Reviewing and improving existing programs to increase efficiency and reduce waste Working closely with production teams to ensure smooth manufacturing processes Requirements Experience working as a CAD Programmer, CAD/CAM Programmer or similar Strong experience with 2D CAD and SolidWorks Background in laser cutting, sheet metal or fabrication Experience with CAD/CAM programming and nesting software Familiarity with Trumpf lasers is highly desirable Experience with Lantek, Oseon or TruTops software would be beneficial Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability What’s on Offer Salary £35,000+ per year 40-hour working week Enhanced holiday allowance (plus service-related increases) Company pension scheme Life assurance Onsite gym Employee Assistance Programme Onsite parking and staff canteen Ongoing training and development opportunities Next Steps Apply to this CAD Programmer role through this advert.
